Brian Cesario, Ph.D.

Dr. Brian Cesario is an industrial-organizational psychologist with research interests in workplace violence and aggression, survey/questionnaire construction, and training program evaluation. For over the last ten years, he has held a variety of leadership positions (most recently, as the Director of Research and Evaluation at a nonprofit in NYC), and has relied heavily on his research background to assess organizational effectiveness and to promote organizational change. He has published and presented his research findings at various conferences, and in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), as well as the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP; APA division 14), the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP; APA division 2), and the Society for Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (APA division 5). Dr. Cesario most enjoys teaching courses in statistics and research methods, mentoring student researchers, and helping students explore and appreciate the value of rigorous empirical investigation as a tool for advancing the social and behavioral sciences.
