Dr. Cari Kennedy is a National Board Certified Educator with a passion for teaching and learning specializing in Educational Leadership with a focus on integrating Instructional Technology into today's classrooms. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from UNC Charlotte in Middle Grades Education, a Master’s Degree from Appalachian State University in Educational Media and an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership specializing in Educational Technology. During her career, she has worked with middle and high school students in addition to adult learners (educators) to create curriculums that integrate content with instructional technology. This integration leads to increased engagement and enhanced learning experiences in the classroom. Her content area specialties are middle and secondary education with a focus on math and science, however, in regards to technology integration/educational media, her speciality is working with adult learners. Dr. Kennedy's dissertation topic was investigating the relationship between professional development design and instructional technology integration and is soon to be published.
