Dr. Christopher K. Gransberry joins the American College of Education as an adjunct faculty member for the Department of Healthcare, in Health Informatics. Dr. Gransberry has served as a Division Chief with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for over 13 years. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Gransberry completed undergraduate training at Southern University at New Orleans and Tulane University. He then went on to Louisiana Tech University to get a Masters in Health Informatics and a Post-masters in Healthcare Operations Management from Nebraska Methodist College. Additionally, he holds a PhD from Northcentral University specializing in Organizational Leadership and is a Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist - Implementation Manager. Teaching for empowerment and being kind to others are cornerstones of his career, life, and legacy. Dr. Gransberry's teaching philosophy centers around active learning and student-centered design and engagement with the coursework. His hobbies include conducting and publishing research, traveling, and spending time with family and other love ones.
