I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in elementary education and liberal arts from Alma College, my Masters of Arts in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Eduaction from Central Michigan University, and an EdD in Education Administration from Columbia Unieristy Teachers Colege.
During my 36 year public education career I taught general and special education grades K-12, and served as a reading diagnostician, and instructional specialist. Aftr 18 years in the classroom, I transitioned to administration, serving as a middle school assistant principal, elementary principal, assistnt superintendent, and Superintendent of Schools for 17 years.
Ater retiring from public schools, I began teaching for the University of Phoenix and currently serve as a Senior Manager for Programmatic Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs. I am also an executive coach and have served on several dissertation committees. I'll be retiring from that position in June, 2020
I am also a certified strategic planner and executive coach with expertise and experience in leadership, curriculum evaluation and development, coaching, and curriculum design.
I am looking forward to my new role as Core Faculty in the Education Leadership program at ACE.
