Crystal Thorpe, Ph.D.

Crystal Thorpe has 25+ years of educational experience.  She has degrees from Indiana University, Butler University, and Indiana State University.  She began her career as a high school English teacher, and eight years later, she became an assistant principal at a middle school. She currently serves as the principal of Fishers Junior High School  in Fishers, Indiana.  She has been the Principal-In-Residence at the University of Indianapolis for seven years where she presents to aspiring leaders on various emerging educational topics.  Crystal serves on the Board of Directors for YMI - Youth Mentoring Initiative - in her community.  She volunteers within her sorority for the Debutante Cotillion, Coats for Kids, the Lupus Foundation, and the College Admissions Program.  She has been a guest speaker for aspiring teachers and graduates at local colleges in Indiana.  In her spare time, Crystal enjoys cooking, action movies, traveling, finding non-franchise restaurants, and being a volleyball mom.  She is very excited to join the ACE team.
