Debbie Huffine is joining the ACE community as the Adjunct Professor of STEM Education. Debbie was a recent Ed.S. graduate from ACE in July 2019. Currently, she is teaching middle school engineering to 7th and 8th graders and also sponsors the school’s robotics team. During her career, Debbie has taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade and has been a district instructional coach. Debbie is passionate about ensuring all students have a positive experience in STEM education, and as the Science Vertical Team Leader for her building has made great strides in helping her building become known as a STEM school. In the past four years Debbie has been awarded Teacher of the Year in 2014, Indiana Teacher Treasure Teacher of the Year 2015, Fishman Honor Role 2016, and was selected to be a Lily Fellow in 2018. Debbie is eager to get started at ACE and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the school she had such an incredible experience attending.
