Dr. Emily McCann joins as Dissertation Adjunct in the Department of Teaching & Learning. Emily is in her 11th year of serving educational stakeholders in the PK-12 public school system. She has worked at the district, state, and university levels, focusing on teacher education through supporting students, schools, families, and future educators. She is currently an Educational Consultant for the Panhandle Area Education Consortium, with a large focus on quality personnel development to support inclusion across the state of Florida. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in 2021. Emily lives in Northwest Florida with her husband, Leo, two daughters, Penelope (2) and Harper (6 months), and two English Bulldogs, Lola and Sampson. She is excited to be a part of the team at the American College of Education!
