Dr. Eyup Erdogan joins the department of Professional Educational Studies as Adjunct Faculty specializing in STEM. He is a patient, knowledgeable and experienced Professor and K-16 Instructor highly regarded for displaying exceptional commitment to student achievement in and out of the classroom throughout a 20-year career.
Dr. Erdogan is the co-author of over 20 scientific publications and co-author of two plant taxa. He develops his student potential through academic engagement, character-building exercises, and extracurricular activities. Eyup serves as a mentor to students seeking guidance, offering advice and support on both academic and personal matters. He utilizes exceptional knowledge of the biological sciences, as well as teaching and institutional administration, to design superior curricula and lesson plans. He possess exceptional academic qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Biology from Balikesir University and a Graduate Teaching Certificate in the area of Biology from Indiana Wesleyan University. In his free time, Eyup enjoys traveling, canoeing, hiking, and camping.
