Dr. Gay Lynn S Pendleton has served in higher education for the past 25 years.  She was privileged to participate in the unfolding of online education from its controversial beginnings, and is thrilled to see its expanding progress and success. Gay Lynn has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Humanities, Education, and Communication for three private universities.  While teaching is her first love, she has also served as an Education Program Chair, Regional Assistant Dean, and Regulatory Assistant Dean.  Dr. Pendleton is also a volunteer California Lead Assessor for the CA Commission on Teacher Education.  Prior to venturing into higher education, she spent over 10 years in K-6 classrooms teaching art education. She is the recipient of the "Women Who Mean Business" award.  Gay Lynn is a native California beach resident who enjoys theater, museums, roller coasters, homemade cookies, and asking lots of questions.
