Dr. Jeff Roach began his career over 30 years ago as an elementary and middle school teacher. As early as the late 1980s, he used current technology to enhance student learning. After five years of classroom teaching, he held various principal and central office positions spanning the next 15 years. In each of these administrative roles, he aimed to use the latest technological advancements in the classroom to improve student learning.
With a change in career focus for the last 12 years, Dr. Roach has used his interest and knowledge in technology to focus on technical training and curriculum development in various industries. He has held several roles as a director of technical training and curriculum development for global companies which has allowed him to travel throughout the world conducting training sessions and learning about global business development.
Dr. Roach’s professional and research interests have always focused on helping learners to become the best they can be and using effective instructional techniques to expand their knowledge. Since shifting his focus to adult learners in both domestic and foreign cultures, he appreciates how different cultural expectations influence education.
