Dr. Jeffrey Hartmann joins the Department of Leadership & Administration, in the Educational Leadership program. Jeff is an education scholar/practitioner and Principal of Stow-Munroe Falls High School in northeast Ohio. Jeff has over 20 years of education and leadership experience in the public and nonprofit sectors. He challenges practitioners to think deeply about their craft, reflect on the nature of education in today's world, and how to infuse best practices into daily, high-quality, learning experiences that students deserve. Jeff's career in education spans cultural, geographic, and socioeconomic experiences while working with nationally recognized secondary and post-secondary schools in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. As a scholar, Jeff engages in critical analysis of educational systems and policies. His research interests focus on change management, Strategy-as-Practice in education, collective bargaining, organizational coherence, strategic management, and associated areas. Jeff received his bachelor's degree in secondary education from Slippery Rock University and his master's degree and a doctorate in education leadership from the University of Pittsburgh. He excited to bring his expertise to ACE!
