Dr. Kimya DuEwa Nance has served students in higher education for over 20 years. She strives to engage her students in the achievement of course and program learning outcomes by promoting critical thinking, professional identity and growth, and civic responsibility. Her goal is to create a learning environment that encourages students to explore areas of interest that excite and inspire them. Dr. Nance’s scholarship endeavors have focused on community-based interventions and academic progression. She is interested in innovative curriculum methods and has actively worked to enhance digital literacy and fluency with her students. For several years, Dr. Nance has served as an Onsite Evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and as a Certified Peer Reviewer for Higher Education with Quality Matters. Dr. Nance maintains her professional clinical practice in both community health and geriatric nursing settings.
