Leanne Weyman, Ed.D.

Dr. Leanne Weyman has been on the leadership team at STEM School Highlands Ranch for the last 8 years. During her tenure, she served as an Assistant Principal, then Middle School Principal and now Director of the K-12 system. Dr. Weyman maintains a Colorado Department of Education Principal license for grades K-12 and is developing a principal induction program that is accessable for the remote school leaders of Colorado. Previously, she was an award winning teacher in the middle and high school science classroom. Early in Dr. Weyman’s career she taught science at a Pennsylvania school where 40% of students lived below the poverty level and a Title III school in Florida. Dr. Weyman earned a full scholarship to Bloomsburg University for her undergraduate double major in Biology and Secondary Education. She earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education and earned a Doctorate of Education in Charter School Administration from William Howard Taft University. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the correlation between leadership characteristics and teacher morale within the charter school setting.
