Leslie Welch, Ph.D. in Nursing

Dr. Leslie Welch is an Instructional Faculty in the Nursing department at American College of Education (ACE).  Dr. Welch has been an RN since 1984 and brings her 25 years of vast professional experience into our online program.  Students have shared their appreciation of her subject matter knowledge and ability to engage them within her courses.  She brings to ACE experience in online teaching and instructional design. Her formal education includes a BS in Nursing and Biology, MSN in Community-Based Nursing and a PhD in Nursing Education.  Her research interest is end-of-life care.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and participating in raising awareness and fundraising for the Sarcoma Foundation.
