Mallory Bryson, Ed.D.

Dr. Mallory Bryson is pleased to join the Department of Teaching and Learning as an adjunct faculty member for ESL, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy, and Special Education courses. She is currently a special education teacher and case manager in her 13th year as a member of the education profession. Previously, she has taught English Language Arts and special education in both resource room and inclusion settings, and is a two-time teacher of the year nominee. She has a passion for special education, setting and maintaining high standards for all learners, and investigating methods for improving teaching and learning for all students. Dr. Bryson earned her Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from The University of West Florida. Her research focused on examining the impact of administrator support on teacher self-efficacy and describing specific supportive practices. It was preceded by an Ed.S. in Curriculum & Instruction from UWF, an M.S.Ed. in Special Education with a focus in Early Childhood Special Education and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Miami with a triple minor in Religious Studies, Political Science, and Spanish. Currently, Dr. Bryson lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming with her husband Bobby, a Lieutenant in the Air Force, their son Benjamin, and cat Katniss.
