Marina Kamenetskiy, Ed.D.
Adjunct Faculty,
Department of Leadership and Administration
I have been teaching adult learners online since 2011. I earned my Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Management and have taught online courses for various universities throughout the years. Some of the courses that I have taught include, Organizational Development and Change, Dynamics of Management, Women Empowered as Learners and Leaders, Introduction to Social Media, etc. As well as developed content (serving as a Subject Matter Expert) for courses such as Communicating in Business, Strategic Management and Policy, and Dynamics in Management. I also have a Master’s degree in English: Technical Communication and have taught courses such as Technical Writing, Professional Writing, and English Composition.
I am also involved with instructional design where I create various professional development courses. I am passionate about the field of education and I always say that I am a lifelong learner. I like to make learning fun, interactive, and allow students to express their creativity through critical thinking, tools, and collaboration with others.
On my free time, I like to do volunteer work. Throughout the year, especially during the holidays, you can find me helping out at a local food pantry or other nonprofits that help feed the homeless. Giving back to my community makes feel connected and gives me a sense of fulfillment. I once saw a quote that I liked that said, "Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person."
