Matthew Montgomery, Ph.D.

Matthew L. Montgomery is the superintendent of Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115 in Lake Forest, IL.  Over the past 16 years in education, he has worked as a high school Science teacher, a middle school principal, a high school principal, and for the past 9 years superintendent. 

Matthew earned his B.S., M.Ed., and Ph.D. from Kent State University.  His dissertation was titled Education Vision in the 21st Century: A Quantitative Study of the Effect of Superintendent Vision on Digital Learning.  Matthew is married to Blayna and they have four school-age children.
