Tess Oliver, Ph.D.

Dr. Tess R. Oliver is part of the Department of Professional Educational Studies as an adjunct. Tess attended West Virginia University and obtained a Ph.D. in Physics specializing in Condensed Matter. Tess studied light matter interactions of heterstructured oxides using ultrafast photonics. During her Ph.D., she supplemented her research with student teaching. After graduation, Tess taught physics at the College of Wooster and then worked in industry. She lives in east central Ohio on a small family farm. She enjoys biking and running.
