Instagram is filled with compelling pictures, fun stories and especially now, it’s a great distraction from day to day life. But did you know there is an entire world of teaching ideas and inspiration on there too? We have created a list of great education accounts to follow.

1. @thetututeacher

Vera is a kindergarten teacher and workshop presenter in New York. She is a leader when it comes to diversity in the classroom. She has another account, @diversereads, where she shares books that can be added to your classroom library to make every student feel represented, empowered and included. Vera is sharing what life is like for an educator in New York during this pandemic.

2. @mrdearybury

Jed is a recognized and accomplished educator. He was named GQ Magazine’s Male Leader of the Year, won the Presidential Award of Excellence and was a finalist for Teacher of the Year in South Carolina. He is now a college professor and leader in education, sharing engagement ideas and positivity with teachers across the country. He is an ally for all students and educators, and focuses on how to bring joy and fun to the classroom!
