ACE Positivity Series: 5 Videos to Boost Your Mood

With all the challenges facing educators right now, it seems like a good time to bring a little sprinkle of  positivity to your day. That’s why we’re launching the ACE Positivity Series, showcasing ways to bring a smile to your face and positivity into your heart. In this post, we’ve compiled a list of some of the most uplifting videos on the internet that you can watch in under 15 minutes! From teacher moments to life lessons, these clips are sure to make you feel all of the good vibes.

Be a Mr. Jensen

Get ready for chills! This one will warm your teacher heart and is a must-watch for all educators. It’s all about the lasting impact we have on children’s lives, how our words and actions matter. See how a child’s life-changing moment experienced at just 10 years old has never left his mind or his heart.

Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable

This TED Talk is all about speaking up and being what the speaker, Ajayi, calls “the domino.” She says that for dominos to fall, one of them must be willing to tip over and start the momentum. So what is stopping us from being a domino? A lot of times it is fear. Fear holds us back in so many areas of our lives and this message is an inspiring way to break through the barriers we create for ourselves.

World Without Teachers

Another one that all teachers must watch. Teaching is always challenging but recently the challenges have been far greater than any of us have ever imagined we would be going through. Watch this one when you are on your last leg or having one of those days. Teachers matter and the job we do is important. The world without teachers is a scary place. You matter – this video will remind you of that.

The Present

Attitude is everything and this short cartoon is a reminder of that. It is a feelgood short about overcoming adversity and never giving up. This one is sure to put a smile on your face. Plus, it features the cutest three-legged pup! Watch all the way until the end. It’s worth it!

Brain Games: Positivity

Brain Games takes on the science behind the power of positivity by doing a social experiment. Leave it to science and actual experiments to show you that the quotes on your coffee mug are actually true. What we say, do, feel and listen to plays a big role in how we feel and perform in life each and every day.
