Alissa Grace, Ed.D.
Adjunct Faculty,
Department of Teaching and Learning
I graduated with my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Capella University. I have a Master’s in Reading Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelors in Special Education. I have taught K-5 for 20 years in a school that I just love. I was born in NJ but relocated with my parent’s at 15 to Sunny Florida. I love it here and will never leave. I also celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary this year to my husband I met in high school. I am in the middle of raising two teenagers (Help!) who are very active in travel sports. We are extremely busy with everyone’s schedules, but I love that lifestyle! And just for fun during quarantine, we added Lola, a yellow lab puppy in the mix. I can’t wait to start this next journey of teaching higher ed in my life.
