Angela Charlet, D.B.A.

Adjunct Faculty,
Department of Healthcare

Dr. Angie Charlet is excited as she joins the Department of Healthcare as Adjunct Faculty.  Angie is a self-deemed life-long learner and believes in the power of education and advancing anyone’s knowledge for both self-improvement and advancement in career journey.  Angie has over 30 years in the healthcare industry moving up from the ranks as an aide to administration.  She holds a degree as a Registered Nurse with an undergrad in nursing from Jacksonville University and graduate degree of Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University.  She received her Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Executive Leadership and Management from California Intercontinental University.  She holds certifications as a leadership coach from the John Maxwell University, Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma certifications along with various other healthcare recognitions. Her primary job away from teaching is the Vice President of Training and Development of a start-up company, Canopy Associates, along with serving as Chief Nursing Officer for Custom Learning Systems and occasional rural healthcare surveyor for The Compliance Team.  In her spare time she enjoys DIY projects around her 5 acre home in rural Illinois and currently six grandchildren who are avid in sports and outdoor activities.  Her goal this year is to become a better shot at clay pigeons (have yet to hit even one!) and the target range her kids have created at her place.  She is excited to bring her expertise in any aspects/avenues she can for ACE!
