Dr. Ana Harvey joins the Department of Leadership & Administration. She holds a doctorate (organizational leadership) from Grand Canyon University and two Master’s degrees, from Marist College and Northcentral University (public administration, psychology) respectively. As a tenured professor and administrator in higher education for many years, she has served the doctoral population in various roles and brings a wealth of knowledge and vast experience to ACE. Her background includes military and nursing specialization, and many years as a higher education educator, and course developer. Additionally, she is a published author of several books on teaching modalities as commissioned by Kendall Hunt Publishing that have been found to be very effective tools in clasroom instruction that are geared toward increased student engagement, and in-class retention in on-line environments.
