Barbara Yalof, Ed.D.

Barbara Yalof Ed.D. has been teaching at ACE since 2013, after earning her doctorate in E-learning and Educational Technology from Northcentral University while working full time. She is inspired by the students in this college who work so hard and understands the balancing act required to participate fully in hands-on learning experiences. Dr. Yalof is a PA certified art teacher with many years of experience teaching and exhibiting her art. She was chosen as a reviewer for e-portfolio pre-service art students in PA. and presents on the value of using e-portfolios for reflection and assessment.
Dr. Yalof enjoys overseeing the Capstone process at ACE. Dr. Yalof’s research focus is e-Learning mentoring and retention of online students. As an educator, her specific areas of expertise are in digital media, digital design, educational technology, student-teacher interface, online course design, and instructional design.
