Brian Rau, Ph.D.

Dr. Rau and his family reside outside of Maysville, Kentucky. He has 15 years of experience in K-12 public education, including 10 years serving in leadership positions, ranging from elementary assistant principal, elementary principal, special education coordinator, and director of special programs / curriculum & instruction. Dr. Rau serves currently as the superintendent of Manchester Local School District, located in Adams County, Ohio. Dr. Rau received his degrees from Morehead State University (B.A.), University of Dayton (M.S.), and his Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership from University of the Cumberlands. In addition, Dr. Rau served in the United States Navy from 1995-1999, at Naval Air Station, Sigonella, Sicily, Italy, as an aircraft rescue firefighter. Dr. Rau received many accomplishments in the navy, including serving as both crash and structural captains, alongside the Sicilian local nationals. Dr. Rau's hobbies include listening to the Bible on CD, camping, boating, kayaking, scuba diving, playing the saxophone, and reading John Grisham and Dan Brown novels. Lastly, Dr. Rau is extremely excited in joining the ACE family.
