Caroline Gulbrandsen, Ed.D.
Department of Leadership and Administration
Dr. Caroline Gulbrandsen has been the academic dean for a private college in the Midwest since 2009. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in higher education and professional development. Her roles include teaching as a college professor; Director of the Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence at Rock Valley College in Rockford, Illinois; and Assistant Director for the Professional Development and Training Office at the University of Miami. Through her various positions, she has created numerous faculty and professional development programs in addition to designing courses for several institutions.
Dr. Gulbrandsen enjoys volunteering in her community, especially in education. She has served on the education committee for her community’s school board and is currently on the board of directors for the Golden Apple Foundation, which recognizes teaching excellence throughout the region’s school districts.
