Dr. C. Dedra Williams has been an educator for the past 25 years and specializes in English as a second language, adult English as a foreign language and second language, adult learners, and teacher leadership development.
After earning her G.E.D., Dr. Williams eagerly began advanced studies in teacher education. This led to certificates in English as a second language and foreign language, then to a master’s degree in higher education, and ultimately a doctorate in educational leadership.
Various educational experiences have enabled Dr. Williams to develop a global view of culture and a multi-faceted approach to life. Her educational experience extends from the United States to the Caribbean and Europe. She has been involved in educational programs in several countries including Jamaica, France, Costa Rica, Haiti, Spain, and Cuba.
Developing all students to be lifelong learners is Dr. Williams’s mission in life. Her affinity for sincere people, intriguing places, and transformational progress remains the foundation of her journey as an educator and fellow lifelong learner.
