Dr. Dennis Debay is a former high school mathematics and computer science teacher. He hails from a family of educators, and his core philosophy of research and teaching includes creating rich learning environments to support both teachers and students.
Dr. Debay has worked to integrate technology into classrooms, supported teachers in implementing reform-based teaching practices, and has helped urban and underrepresented students use technology as a tool to help further understanding of social justice and sustainability issues in their neighborhoods. Additionally, he has assisted in redesigning courses in the mathematics department at the University of Massachusetts – Boston, The Lynch School of Education at Boston College, and Manhattanville College.
