I am a first-generationcollege graduate born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I earned a doctorate in Education with an emphasis on curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment . I bring to the ACE family 21 years of teaching experience. In the past, I've worked as a Science Educator, Science Coordinator, Reading Intervention Coordinator, Lead teacher Mentor, and Instructional Faculty for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

My research interest is in the implementation of Reading and Writing programs in a classroom. In addition, I enjoy reading, writing, jogging, and lifting weights. It is an honor to be part of the ACE Family!
