For the past 14 years, Dr. Guykesha Gardner has worked in the areas of clinical assessment, psycho-educational assessment, and psychotherapy. She is currently a psychologist and has dedicated her life to helping others navigate through complex problems in life. Her latest research interest has involved studying the attitudes, relationships, and esteem of low-income adolescent African American males. She is pursuing this direction because she has observed a critical need in her community for these individuals to develop the skills, sensitivities, and understandings that will make life meaningful and rewarding for them.
Dr. Gardner enjoys spending her spare time teaching online and in person, hanging out with family and friends, watching the stock market, and traveling. She resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her husband and daughter.
