Dr. John Gachago is the CEO and Co-Founder of E-Health Solutions LLC, whose primary focus is Digital Health consulting. In addition to a successful career in international logistics and the pharmaceutical industry with four blockbuster drug launches, Dr. Gachago had the honor and privilege of leading, from inception to market launch, two mobile health/telemedicine platforms. The first currently serves over 4 million users in a region where most did not have access to quality healthcare, and frequently infants died from otherwise preventable issues. The second digital health platform was recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the best Mobile Health/Telemedicine solution in customer value delivery in 2018. Dr. Gachago and his team traveled to Los Angeles, California, to accept the award in 2019. Dr. Gachago has experienced the positive impact and potential of digital health, making him passionate about its potential to make healthcare safer, more effective, patient-centric, more timely, efficient, and equitable.
Dr. John Gachago also teaches at California Baptist University and subscribes to the scholar-practitioner-leader (SPL) model of learning having completed his doctoral education at the University of Phoenix in 2018. His research focused on “Going beyond Implementation to Adoption of Digital Health with a view to attaining UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 for Health.” Besides publishing several articles on digital health, rural healthcare intelligence, Dr. John Gachago has developed continuing medical education programs for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) focused on going beyond implementation to the adoption of digital health, transforming healthcare with artificial intelligence, and the strategic application of blockchain technology to healthcare. Some of his key insights on Digital Health can be found in his book Digital Health - “The How To beyond 2020” due to be published in July 2021. Dr. Gachago is also fluent in French, Swahili, and Kikuyu and has developed a solid reputation for product knowledge, client relations proficiency, project leadership expertise, and digital know-how. Dr. Gachago is passionate about transforming the delivery of healthcare through people, processes, and technology. Besides being committed Christ-followers, Dr. Gachago and his wife Maya who practices as an operating room nurse, have 3 sons ages 22, 24, and 26. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, working out, hiking, obstacle races, and triathlons
