My interests stem from my love of music and children and from raising 5 children and enjoying 24 grandchildren. I have researched self-regulation and music, attenion and muisc, preferred song of infants, communication at ages 3, 4, and 5 in preschool settings, reaching the one in Head Start and Early Head Start, training pre-service teachers, child development, and online learning.
My goal as a professor is to improve and encourage future and present teachers and parents to assist in helping the children of today to become strong adults who value education, care for others, and revere life and country.
