Laura Maloney, Ed.D.

Dr. Laura Maloney envisions a world with no educational boundaries for students. To this end, she has dedicated her career to breaking down barriers for all students, including underserved populations. She partners with curriculum and literacy teams to analyze data, and leads intervention initiatives and professional learning communities for student success.

Currently, Dr. Maloney is an instructional leader at Florida Virtual School where she manages a blended learning lab schoolhouse of 43 teachers and five lead teachers. Throughout the past decade, she has served in both instructional and administrative roles. As a respected leader among her colleagues and peers, she regularly presents on effective research-based blended learning strategies at the statewide learning conference for Florida Virtual School and its partners.
