Dr. Leronda Phillips is an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Teaching and Learning. Dr. Phillips has over 20 years experience in field of Special Education and Early Childhood Development. Her experience includes serving as an Educational Consultant, Parent Counselor, Behavior Specialist, and ABA Therapist to students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and various other developmental disabilities. Dr. Phillips taught PK-12 Special Education in the Georgia public school system for 11 years. She was an Educational Diagnostician 8 years, and Lead Teacher for Special Education with Dekalb County School District. Dr. Phillips earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Walden University, M.Ed. in Educational Assessment/Evaluation from American InterContinetal University, B.S. in Psychology from Kennesaw State University, and Educational Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia.
