Dr. Marc J. Aguilera holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with a concentration on Higher Education from Argosy University, Phoenix, AZ. He also holds a Graduate Degree in Business, MBA from the University of Indianapolis and an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Commerce, Finance and Communication from Paris, France with the last year spent in the United States of America under the supervision of Boston Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
Dr. Aguilera's background includes over 10 years in higher education as an Academic Chair. Over 10 years of experience in the business world, running corporate service operations in global and fortune 500 companies in Central Indiana.
Dr. Aguilera's research focused on Retention: Factors that leads first year college freshman students in hospitality administration to remain at a major college in Indiana. The collected quantitative findings and conclusions were defended before Argosy University's Dissertation Committee. Summary of the research was also presented before the most senior Institution Effectiveness leaders and sponsoring institution to help targeting strategies and plans for intervention to reduce college student attrition, reasons for withdrawal and increase retention.
Dr. Marc J. Aguilera resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, being married now for 25 years to his wife. They have a 17 year-old daughter and 15 year-old son who are both in High School.
