Melissa Bennett, DNP
Instructional Faculty,
Department of Nursing
I've been a nurse for over 30 years focusing primarily in the long term and long term acute care arena due to my love for geriatrics! I am passionate about developing nurse leaders and supporting professional growth. I am active as an appraiser for Pathways to Excellence through ANCC, and I volunteer on the Ohio Board of Nursing's Education Advisory Council.
Personally, my husband and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2020. We have three adult children, one of whom is a BSN almost MSN/ MBA nurse, and one grandson!
I love to garden, read, waterski, cook and workout! My favorite workouts are HIIT, Tabata and Sculpting.
