Stephanie Schaefer joins the Department of Teaching and Learning as an adjunct faculty specializing in STEM Education. Steph has over ten years of experience working at the college level teaching writing, and over seven years of experience working as a math, science, and computer science teacher both in online, blended learning, and in-person settings. Steph is also a professional development trainer for teachers in New York and frequently presents at local, state, and national conferences. She is a certified teacher in New York and Pennsylvania with a wide range of certifications including special education and ESOL along with math and science. Steph has her PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning as well as her CAS in Educational Technology and New Literacies from the University at Buffalo, a certificate in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Drexel University, and a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Scranton. Steph is excited to get started with ACE!
