Wendy Ziems-Mueller, D.M.
Adjunct Faculty,
Department of Leadership and Administration
I am Dr. Wendy Ziems-Mueller and am a fulltime Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business at Tiffin University. I currently serve as the Assistant Dean of the Graduate Programs for the Tiffin University. I have previously served as the Dean of Associate’s Degree Programs for Tiffin University where I oversaw all the academic operations for the 2-year degree programs in Business, Criminal Justice and General Studies. I have also served as the BA in Professional Studies Program Chair and Undergraduate Program Chair School of Business where I oversaw curriculum, course development, and instructors for the program.
I have taught Leadership, Accounting, Philosophy, Business, Management, Marketing, and Mathematics courses. Additionally, I have taught previously both online and in a traditional seated capacity for various colleges and universities. I have also taught several classes for Grand Canyon University at the doctorate level for the last few years. My favorites are Organizational Theory and Org Behavior as well as Systems Thinking and Individual Differences and Organizational Outcomes. Before Tiffin, I served as the Dean of Academics for an occupational college in Toledo for 8 years. My degrees include a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration focusing in finance and accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from Heidelberg University and a Masters of Education in Higher Education Leadership. I also completed my Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership Degree and my degree was granted on October 31, 2011. My dissertation was written in strategic planning and leadership.
I am married to Axel and we have 4 children, Meagan (26), Lauren (23), Zachary (19) and Elizabeth (10). We reside in Perrysburg, Ohio. I love to read and write fiction; love to travel and spend time with my family; but most of all I love the education industry and teaching. I believe that education is a lifelong journey that builds on intellectual discovery and stimulates growth of the integrated student.
I am a life-long learner and I truly enjoy sharing my expertise and experience with students at all levels and know I will learn something from each group I teach! Ultimately I would like to obtain the role of senior level administrator of a college sometime in the near future.
