ACE welcomes Jones International University Transfers
American College of Education is pleased to welcome all transferring students from the closing Jones International University. American College of Education is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and offers certificates, master's degrees in Education, and doctoral and specialist degrees in Leadership.
As you choose where to continue your degree, we hope you'll see what sets us apart from other programs:
ACE is number four in the nation for M.Ed. degrees conferred.* We also have some of the best graduation and retention rates in the country, at 73 percent and an average of 82 percent, respectively.** The current national graduation rate is 50-64 percent***, and the average retention rate is 72 percent.
Our core faculty all have doctorate degrees, but they don't exist in an ivory tower. Our faculty have current, relevant experience to enrich the knowledge you gain from their instruction.
Our programs are available entirely online, 24/7. The Internet doesn't close at 7 p.m., so your access to your courses shouldn't either. Listen to your lectures, submit your assignments, and complete your degree on your schedule, not ours.
When you transfer to American College of Education, you'll benefit from significantly lower tuition rates. Our certificate and master's programs are just $215 per credit hour, while doctoral program tuition is $304.75 per credit hour.
What other transfer students are saying about ACE
"I completed my Master of Education in Educational Leadership at ACE [in] September 2015 after transferring most of my coursework from Jones International University. I know a few teachers who had gone through the program and received their degrees from ACE, and I was reassured because ACE is accredited, and I had a personal contact who had both completed the program and successfully landed an administrative position.
My advice for other transfer students is to remember the program is well worth paying for courses out of pocket. Jones International was very expensive. I would have spent nearly $8,000 just to finish my remaining courses at Jones, and at ACE, I graduated without any debt….I’m thinking of going right back in January." – Sherika Guidry-Simon (Ed Leadership, '15).
Make a comfortable transition.
Our dedicated Student Services team is ready to assist you. If you have questions about the transfer process, our school, or our programs, please call 1-844-276-9476 or send an email to ACEtransfer@ace.edu with the subject line 'JIU transfer student.'

"By earning an ACE master's degree, I feel more prepared to teach. My degree has prepared me to teach other educators about technology and how to integrate it into their own classrooms."
