It’s official: American College of Education is an ace employer.

This morning, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce confirmed as much when it unveiled the 2018 list for Best Places to Work in Indiana, naming American College of Education among the top 120 companies in the state.

Per the chamber’s press release, honorees were selected based on “employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.” This is the second year ACE has made the cut, having previously scored the No. 6 spot in the medium-sized companies division (those employing 75-249 nationwide and at least 15 in Indiana) in 2017.

“ACE is ecstatic to be named an Indiana Best Place to Work,” shared President Shawntel Landry.

“Our leadership team and our employees work hard at having an amazing culture that focuses on high productivity, strong student-centric values, and balancing our work and personal lives” – a balance made possible by progressive employee benefits, including a flexible remote-work policy, paid parental leave, civic hours, and tuition assistance.

It’s all a part of “providing our employees a dynamic work environment in which they not only perform their day-to-day tasks, but they continue to learn and grow,” said Vice President of Human Resources and B Corp champion KK Byland.

“It’s no coincidence that our student satisfaction rates and our employee satisfaction rates are both above 90%. Happy employees equals happy students!”

On May 3, the companies nominated will be invited to the Best Places to Work in Indiana Awards Dinner at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, where they will learn their official ranking.
