Associate Degree Students Can Easily Transfer into ACE’s Applied Management and Leadership Program

INDIANAPOLIS - Two leading Indiana-based educational institutions, Ivy Tech Community College and American College of Education, have announced an articulation agreement that will put Ivy Tech students on the fast track to a bachelor’s degree at ACE.

All Ivy Tech graduates with an associate degree from any program of study may transfer and apply a minimum of 60 credit hours from that completed degree to the requirements for ACE’s B.S. in Applied Management and Leadership.

The B.S. in Applied Management and Leadership provides students with the knowledge and skills to become and advance as managers and leaders within their respective fields. It is the third ACE program to be part of an articulation agreement with Ivy Tech, following similar agreements for ACE’s B.S. in Healthcare Administration and RN to MSN programs.

“Providing a clear pathway for community college students to complete their bachelor’s degree is another way ACE stays true to its mission of making high-quality education as accessible as possible to working professionals. Our Applied Management and Leadership program will prepare students to thrive in today’s fast-paced, data-driven industries,” said ACE President Dr. Shawntel Landry. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Ivy Tech to bring our online programs within reach of more community college students.”

According to Ivy Tech Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Russell Baker, “This most recent articulation agreement with ACE is an exceptionally flexible opportunity for all Ivy Tech students. It provides a direct pathway from every associate degree we offer to a bachelor’s degree with no credit loss regardless of which major a student has completed here. We are delighted to add this articulation to our ever-growing transfer opportunities for students.”

All Ivy Tech students with junior standing are eligible for admission to ACE’s B.S. in Applied Management and Leadership program.
