Online College Offers New Doctorate, Specialist, Master’s, Certificate and Micro-Credential Programs

INDIANAPOLIS – American College of Education is expanding its healthcare offerings to include new programs in healthcare administration and executive management, and public health education.

The Master of Healthcare Administration prepares students for advanced leadership roles in the healthcare field, providing real world experience in management and strategy development. The program is grounded in the broad concepts of leadership, healthcare delivery, healthcare law and ethics, and policy, combining research and coursework to create well-rounded leaders in the healthcare field.

The Certificate in Executive Healthcare Quality and Financial Management is an in-depth investigation of leadership, resource allocation, and quality management in healthcare organizations. This certificate, which also comprises two healthcare micro-credentials, is an excellent option for current healthcare professionals who wish to expand their skills without committing to a full degree program.

Students who complete the included Micro-Credential: Healthcare Quality Management courses in both of these programs will be eligible to take the Lean Healthcare exam to receive a Lean Healthcare Certificate of Knowledge. In addition, MHA students may design practicum requirements as a process improvement project to qualify for Lean Healthcare Certification.

ACE also is offering two new degree programs in public health education. The Ed.D. and Ed.S. in Public Health Education are designed for healthcare educators and professionals who wish to address public health issues through education in local, national and international communities at the post-master’s level. Both provide an integrative learning experience with opportunities for research and real-world application. The Ed.S. allows students to complete a specialist-level degree without completing a dissertation.

These programs will be available beginning with the May 18 term (except in Florida, Georgia and Kentucky). If you are interested in these or any other programs at ACE, please contact the enrollment team at (800) 280-0307 option 2, or use the live chat feature on ace.edu or fill out the request for information form.
